NetTopo is shifted from previous .Net to Java based implementation environment. Here is the list of major changes:

* Changing the developing language to Java using JDK 5.0.

* Allowing user-defined nodes layout.

* Allowing user-defined node attributes.

* Adding file manipulation functions.

* Dynamic monitoring the state and attributes of nodes

New Version is available on SourceForge.net.

 

 

 

NetTopo can generate a large number of XML streams for testing GSN performance.

The latest version is out with following features:

* Running in Microsoft Virsual Studio .Net 2003.

* Allowing users to deploy a sensor network with a size up to 500 M * 500 M, number of sensor node up to 400, and number of source nodes up to 99.

* It can show different network topology of routing paths when user changes the simulation parameters.

Two routing protocols: GPSR and TPGF are implemented in NetTopo.

NetTopo now can real-timely visualize Crossbow sensor network, e.g., the adding and deleting of sensor nodes, the changing of network topology. Furthermore, a simple 3D visualization model for Smart Home & Smart House scenario is also implemented.
